The story about Jim Rockford (James Garner ), an ex-con-turned-private-investigator, always kept up the intrigue from week to week of what new misadventure Rockford would try to avoid but end up right in the middle of instead.

Unlike many of today's shows that get so formulaic after one season, the writers, and the stellar performances by Garner, kept fans delighted week after week. This is a great nostalgic TV series to own. Here's Universal Studios Home Entertainment's overview of this newest release.
